Ideal for complete beginners or those with little to no driving experience. You’ll be taught everything from the basics, building your skills step by step until you’re ready to pass your practical driving test. The focus is on helping you become a safe and confident driver for life.
Refresher driving lessons are ideal for anyone looking to improve their skills or regain confidence behind the wheel. Whether you’ve taken a break from driving or simply want to sharpen your abilities, lessons are tailored to your individual needs.
The duration varies depending on your experience, but most learners typically require around 8–10 hours.
This course is suitable if you:
- Have taken a long break from driving and want to rebuild confidence
- Want to improve your overall driving skills
- Are preparing for a driving assessment (e.g. for a job)
- Have exchanged a foreign licence for a UK licence
- Feel unsure driving in busy or fast-moving traffic
- Want guidance before teaching a family member

A crash course (also known as an intensive driving course) is ideal for learners who want to pass their driving test quickly. These courses are typically completed within 2–5 weeks, with 10–15 hours of lessons per week to help you progress faster.
Pass plus is a training course for newly passed drivers to develop their driving skills & techniques in more depth, how
to improve your planning, anticipation & awareness in order to become a safe driver. The scheme was designed by
the Driving Standards Agency, with the help of the leading motor insurance companies and driving School industries.
Sadly statistics show that new drivers are more likely to be involved in an accident during the first year. That’s why
insurance premiums are very high for new & young drivers. Pass plus is recognized by most insurance companies and
will give discount on your insurance premiums if you completed the Pass Plus course successfully.
Anyone can take part in the scheme. There is no test at the end of the course but you will be assessed continually. You
must complete all 6 modules to achieve or exceed the standard required. Pass plus pupils will display a green P plate
on the vehicle.
Module 1 = Introduction & Town driving.
Driving in town can be frustrating. You will be taught how to deal with complex junctions in town & city centre during rush hour
Module 2 = All Weather Driving
Driving in various weather conditions requires experience & skills. You will be taught how to deal with the dangers of driving in ice, snow, fog, wind, rain & bright sunshine. Learn the skills to drive safely inthese weather conditions which you will find on the roads in the years coming ahead.
Module 3 = Out of town driving and rural roads
Rural & country roads can hold all types of hazards, for example narrow lanes, sharp bends, hidden junctions, farm tractors, potholes & animals on the road. Get the skills you need to deal with the hazards you’ll come across when driving on rural roads.
Module 4 = Night driving
Dealing with dazzling lights, judging distance and speed, using your lights correctly, these are just some of the areas covered. You’ll have limited vision at night & therefore less information is available to you.
You will be taught how to make the most of what you see.
Module 5 = Dual Carriageway Driving.
You will need greater anticipation, awareness, concentration & observation when driving in fast moving traffic. You will be taught how to drive safely & confidently on fast moving multi lane dual carriageways & build on the knowledge and skills you already have.
Module 6 = Motorway Driving.
Driving on motorway can be very challenging due to fast moving traffic and multiple lane. Joining and leaving the motorway is a big challenge for new driver. The Pass Plus Scheme is designed to give the driver a real insight to driving on motorways. Driving on motorways demands greater anticipation, concentration, planning, observation & awareness when dealing with other fast moving traffic.
